About this event

The COVID-19 crisis has presented extraordinary policy challenges. From public health to economic welfare, no society has escaped the pandemic and the complications created for lives and livelihoods. One emergent point of clarity is the fundamental need to build global solidarity. In answer to this need, the Centre for International Governance Innovation and the Association of Professional Executives of the Public Service of Canada (APEX) have convened an expert panel of renowned international think tank leaders to discuss potential solutions to these issues and more.

Join us for a panel discussion followed by Q&A with international think tank leaders who will share the top policy issues facing their countries with respect to COVID-19 and solution-based ideas to provide coherent strategies centered around Response, Resilience, Recovery and Reform to lead through this crisis. Together, international thought leaders and public service executives will work toward effective, integrated policy making. Following the discussion, participants will have a better understanding of policy-making challenges and opportunities, and actionable insights to help facilitate cohesive responses for innovative and inclusive crisis intervention.

As this is an international panel, this event will be delivered primarily in English however participants are invited to submit their questions in the official language of their choice.
